5,000 years ago, an immense forest of oaks reigned where the Brière marshes now lie. By a geological upheaval, the trees fell and were swallowed by the peat soil. Trapped in this natural sarcophagus with no air or oxygen, the trunks became loaded with silica and wonderfully preserved. This centuries-old noble wood is called Morta.
Our artisanal know-how transforms this exceptional material into wooden handles for our knives handmade in France. Each single piece is shaped using traditional methods in our workshop, where French tradition meets precision craftsmanship. With ergonomic designs, brass rivets, and high quality steel blades, our handmade in France knives carry the spirit of Brière.
Made in France with pride, our French knives blend ancient heritage with modern performance.
